Snow King Ski Area offers skiing and snowboarding as well as a fantastic Ski School. Also enjoy snow tubing at King Tubes, an exhilarating activity for kids AND adults located at the base of Snow King Mountain. When the Moose Hockey Team isn't practicing on the ice arena, Ice Skating is available within the Snow King Center.

National Museum of Wildlife Art
It may be hard to see from afar as it is designed to blend in to the natural rock and landscape that surrounds it, but with a myriad of permanent and visiting exhibits, the National Museum of Wildlife Art is a one of a kind. You can take a tour with a docent, eat lunch at the on-site café that looks out over the National Elk Refuge, or take your kids to the Kid’s Corner, full of art supplies, books, puzzles, and fun animal costumes.

Sleigh Rides on the National Elk Refuge
It’s hard to leave Jackson in the winter months without enjoying a sleigh ride through the National Elk Refuge. The herd of 7,000 elk are accustomed to the passenger sleighs as they are also used to distribute food pellets. You will come within feet to this herd of elk and really get to know their way of life in the winter.
